The Marion Wolves basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting South Tama County Trojans to 19 in the Wolves league victory on Friday.

The Wolves now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Benton for a WAMAC - West contest on Tuesday, December 12. Marion will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 83-39 non-league loss to Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, IA). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, South Tama County moves to 1-2 on the year. The Trojans host Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IA) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 12.
