December 8, 2023: Palmyra, NE 68418 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mead Raiders (Mead, NE) and the host Palmyra Panthers (Palmyra, NE), saw Mead's basketball squad wallop Palmyra by a count of 72-38.
With the victory, Mead upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Raiders host Bancroft-Rosalie (Bancroft, NE) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Bancroft-Rosalie won 68-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Clarkson/Leigh (Clarkson, NE)
Next up, the Panthers play the Johnson County Central Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Palmyra will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
