Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Cozad Haymakers (Cozad, NE), 49-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Hershey upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE) to clash with the Irish in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Irish go into the bout with a record of 1-3. St. Patrick's lost 38-31 in their recent league bout against Maxwell (Maxwell, NE)

Next up, the Haymakers clash with the Valentine (Valentine, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Cozad will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 23-20 non-league win over Todd County (Mission, SD).
