The DeMatha Stags basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Highland Hawks to 50 in the Stags non-league triumph on Sunday.

The Stags now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Archbishop Carroll for a DCSAA AA game on Tuesday, December 10. DeMatha will confront a Lions team coming off a 88-82 non-league win over Neumann-Goretti (Philadelphia, PA). The Lions record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Highland falls to 10-3 on the campaign. The Hawks host Evergreen Christian (Leesburg, VA) to confront the Eagles in a Northern Virginia game on Tuesday, December 10.
