DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC), 74-52 in a league match.

With the victory, DeMatha advances its record to 17-5 on the year. The Stags host St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD) to face the Knights in a Washington Catholic match on Saturday, February 1. The Knights enter the match with a record of 5-17. St. Mary's Ryken lost 81-56 in their recent league match against Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD)
