Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the La Vega Pirates (Waco, TX) and the visiting Travis Rebels (Austin, TX), saw La Vega's basketball squad wallop Travis by a tally of 47-22.

With the victory, La Vega improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Gateway College Preparatory (Georgetown, TX) to play the Gators in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Gators come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Gateway College Preparatory won 56-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Travis (Austin, TX)

Next up, the Rebels play the KIPP Austin Collegiate Cardinals (Austin, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 10. Travis will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record.
