In Friday's non-league match, the host Sharpsville Blue Devils basketball team scored a good 48-40 triumph over the Mercer Mustangs.

In their next game, the Blue Devils meet the Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA) in a District 10 Region 4 match, on Thursday, December 15. Sharpsville will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Greyhounds enter the match with a 4-1 record after their 59-19 non-league win over Portersville Christian (Portersville, PA).
