Colorado High School Basketball - Weld Central over Brush

December 9, 2023: Keenesburg, CO 80643

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Weld Central Rebels (Keenesburg, CO) and the visiting Brush Beetdiggers (Brush, CO), saw Weld Central's basketball squad overcome Brush by a tally of 60-52.

With the victory, Weld Central improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Monte Vista (Monte Vista, CO) to confront the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Monte Vista lost 37-33 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Mary's (Colorado Springs, CO)

Next up, the Beetdiggers confront the Yuma Yuma (Yuma, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Brush will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Yuma go into the test with a 2-1 record after their 78-59 non-league win over Platte Valley (Kersey, CO).
