The Medicine Valley Raiders basketball team (Curtis, NE), was nudged 44-37 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Decatur Community Red Devils (Oberlin, KS)

The Red Devils now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hill City for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 12. Decatur Community will confront a Ringnecks team coming off a 66-10 non-league loss to Thomas More Prep-Marian (Hays, KS). The Ringnecks record now stands at 0-2.

The Raiders (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Hitchcock County (Trenton, NE). The Falcons come into the D2 District 9 battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Hitchcock County edged Dundy County-Stratton (Benkelman, NE), 47-25, in a league battle.
