Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Port Charlotte Pirates (Port Charlotte, FL) and the host Lemon Bay Manta Rays (Englewood, FL), saw Port Charlotte's basketball squad nip Lemon Bay by a margin of 54-50.

The Pirates (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Lakewood Ranch (Bradenton, FL). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Lakewood Ranch was tipped by Riverview Sarasota (Sarasota, FL), 63-46, in a non-league test.
