The Port Charlotte Pirates basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Lakewood Ranch Mustangs to 14 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Charlotte for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8.

The Mustangs (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lemon Bay (Englewood, FL). The Manta Rays enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Lemon Bay was routed by Port Charlotte (Port Charlotte, FL), 54-50, in a non-league contest.
