The Spring Lions basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Willis Wildkats to 19 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clear Brook for a 6A Region III District 24 contest on Thursday, December 1. Spring will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 49-43 non-league loss to Summer Creek (Houston, TX). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-4.

The Wildkats (0-10) will now prepare for their contest against Morton Ranch (Katy, TX). The Mavericks enter the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Morton Ranch was routed by Katy (Katy, TX), 64-28, in a league contest.
