The Spring Lions routed the host Willis Wildkats basketball team by a final score of 59-22 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Lions face the MacArthur Generals (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region II District 14 game, on Tuesday, January 3. Spring will attempt to move on its 13-7 season record. The Generals enter the game with a 7-11 record after their 56-21 non-league loss to Montgomery (Montgomery, TX).

With the defeat, Willis moves to 4-18 on the year. The Wildkats host The Woodlands (The Woodlands, TX) to face the Highlanders in a 6A Region II District 13 game on Wednesday, January 4.
