Georgia High School Basketball - Peachtree Ridge can't hold off Berkmar
December 1, 2023: Lilburn, GA 30047 The Berkmar Patriots basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Peachtree Ridge Lions to 62 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.
The Patriots now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenforest for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Berkmar will battle a Eagles team coming off a 64-45 non-league win over Meadowcreek (Norcross, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
The Lions (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lee County (Leesburg, GA). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Lee County nudged Sumter County (Americus, GA), 61-45, in a non-league contest.
