In Friday's non-league outing, the Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish (Kankakee, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL), by a count of 67-50.

The Fightin' Irish (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Comer (Chicago, IL). The Catamounts go into the non-league outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Comer defeated The Noble Academy (Chicago, IL), 48-36, in a league outing.

The Sabers now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Oakwood for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 5. St. Thomas More will play a Comets squad coming off a 54-53 non-league win over Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL). The Comets record now stands at 8-0.
