December 1, 2023: Honoka'a, HI 96727 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Honoka'a Dragons (Honoka'a, HI) and the visiting Roosevelt Rough Riders (Honolulu, HI), saw Honoka'a's basketball squad hold off Roosevelt by a tally of 56-53.
With the victory, Honoka'a improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Mid-Pacific Institute (Honolulu, HI) to play the Owls in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Mid-Pacific Institute won 67-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Lahainaluna (Lahaina, HI)
Next up, the Rough Riders play the Waipahu Marauders (Waipahu, HI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 7. Roosevelt will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Marauders come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 86-34 non-league loss to Kahuku (Kahuku, HI).
