Hawaii High School Basketball - Mid-Pacific Institute fells Honoka'a

December 2, 2023: Honoka'a, HI 96727

Mid-Pacific Institute Owls (Honolulu, HI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Honoka'a Dragons (Honoka'a, HI), 73-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mid-Pacific Institute upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Owls travel to Mililani (Mililani, HI) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Mililani lost 52-38 in their recent non-league bout against Punahou (Honolulu, HI)

Next up, the Dragons play the Hawaii Prep Ka Makani (Kamuela, HI) in a Big Island - West bout, on Wednesday, December 6. Honoka'a will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Ka Makani go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 35-33 non-league loss to Kealakehe (Kailua-Kona, HI).
