The Marlette Red Raiders basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Vassar Vulcans to 48 in the Red Raiders non-league victory on Friday.

The Red Raiders now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Unionville-Sebewaing for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 6. Marlette will battle a Patriots team coming off a 70-27 non-league loss to Harbor Beach (Harbor Beach, MI). The Patriots record now stands at 0-2.

The Vulcans (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against North Branch (North Branch, MI). The Broncos come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.
