Michigan High School Basketball - Marlette tops Harbor Beach
January 29, 2024: Marlette, MI 48453 Marlette Red Raiders (Marlette, MI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Harbor Beach Pirates (Harbor Beach, MI), 51-36 in a league bout.
With the victory, Marlette upgrades its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Red Raiders host Memphis (Memphis, MI) to play the Yellowjackets in a Greater Thumb - East bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a record of 1-13. Memphis lost 71-26 in their recent league bout against Brown City (Brown City, MI)
Next up, the Pirates play the Ubly Bearcats (Ubly, MI) in a Greater Thumb - East bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Harbor Beach will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Bearcats come into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 61-48 league win over Capac (Capac, MI).
