The Sabinal Yellowjackets basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Nueces Canyon Panthers to 23 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Utopia for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Sabinal will battle a Buffaloes team coming off a 55-52 non-league win over Junction (Junction, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 4-2.

The Panthers (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Leakey (Leakey, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Leakey was routed by D'Hanis (D'Hanis, TX), 38-12, in a non-league contest.
