The Utopia Buffaloes (Utopia, TX) basketball nipped the host Sabinal Yellowjackets (Sabinal, TX), 51-44 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Buffaloes (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Brackett (Brackettville, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Brackett got by Leakey (Leakey, TX), 48-24, in a non-league test.
