Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Pineywoods Community Academy Timberwolves (Lufkin, TX) and the visiting Shepherd Pirates (Shepherd, TX), saw Pineywoods Community Academy's basketball squad knock off Shepherd by a count of 38-30.

With the victory, Pineywoods Community Academy upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to Tournament Opponent (, ) to play the in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The come into the challenge with a record of 17-72. Tournament Opponent lost 69-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Lutheran South Academy (Houston, TX)
