The Diboll Lumberjacks basketball team (Diboll, TX), was nudged 69-62 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Shepherd Pirates (Shepherd, TX)

The Pirates now possess a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Onalaska for a 3A Region III District 23 battle on Friday, December 15. Shepherd will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 73-46 non-league win over Elkhart (Elkhart, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-8.

The Lumberjacks (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Central Heights (Nacogdoches, TX). The Blue Devils come into the 3A Region III District 21 battle with a 2-7 record.
