Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Diboll Lumberjacks (Diboll, TX) and the host Pineywoods Community Academy Timberwolves (Lufkin, TX), saw Diboll's basketball squad overcome Pineywoods Community Academy by a tally of 59-49.

With the victory, Diboll improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks travel to Central Heights (Nacogdoches, TX) to confront the Blue Devils in a 3A Region III District 21 challenge on Tuesday, January 23.
