December 1, 2023: Carpentersville, IL 60110 The Dundee-Crown Chargers basketball team (Carpentersville, IL), was overwhelmed 51-25 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL)
The Trojans now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hampshire for a Fox Valley battle on Tuesday, December 5. Cary-Grove will battle a Whip-Purs team coming off a 51-37 non-league loss to Barrington (Barrington, IL). The Whip-Purs record now stands at 2-4.
The Chargers (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Central (Burlington, IL). The Rockets come into the Fox Valley battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Central trounced Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL), 67-19, in a league battle.
