Illinois High School Basketball - Cary-Grove trounces McHenry
February 7, 2024: McHenry, IL 60050 The Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL) basketball crushed the host McHenry Warriors (McHenry, IL), 43-18 in Wednesday's league test.
The Trojans (18-10) will now prepare for their test against Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL). The Wolves go into the Fox Valley test with a 16-12 record. In their last test, Prairie Ridge was trounced by Huntley (Huntley, IL), 47-27, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 3-25 record. They play next when they travel to Hampshire for a Fox Valley test on Friday, February 9. McHenry will encounter a Whip-Purs squad coming off a 58-50 league win over Central (Burlington, IL). The Whip-Purs record now stands at 19-11.
