The Newark Wildcats basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Lancaster Golden Gales to 42 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dublin Jerome for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Newark will battle a Celtics team coming off a 40-36 league win over Hilliard Darby (Hilliard, OH). The Celtics record now stands at 3-0.
