Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Hurricanes (Spring Hill, FL), 84-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mitchell upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Anclote (Holiday, FL) to clash with the Sharks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 15. The Sharks go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Anclote lost 74-35 in their recent non-league bout against Fivay (Hudson, FL)

Next up, the Hurricanes clash with the Cypress Creek Coyotes (Wesley Chapel, FL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 13. Bishop McLaughlin Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Coyotes go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 70-46 non-league win over Gulf (New Port Richey, FL).
