Florida High School Basketball - Mitchell nips River Ridge

December 17, 2021: New Port Richey, FL 34655

Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL), 89-83 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Mitchell upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Sunlake (Land O' Lakes, FL) to play the Seahawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 4. The Seahawks come into the bout with a record of 1-5.

Next up, the Royal Knights play the Fivay Falcons (Hudson, FL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 5. River Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record.
