The Chalmette Owls basketball team (Chalmette, LA), was toppled 51-40 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Slidell Tigers (Slidell, LA)

The Tigers now possess a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Jefferson for a non-league battle on Monday, December 12. Slidell will confront a Warriors team coming off a 65-58 non-league loss to Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-6.

The Owls (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Holy Cross (New Orleans, LA). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 6-0 record.
