Sioux Valley Cossacks (Volga, SD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones (Clark, SD), 70-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Sioux Valley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cossacks host Baltic (Baltic, SD) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-1.
