March 16, 2023: Hayti, SD 57241 Hamlin Chargers (Hayti, SD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Sioux Valley Cossacks (Volga, SD), 72-64 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hamlin upgrades its record to 21-3 on the season. The Chargers travel to Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league game on Friday, March 17. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 24-0. Dakota Valley won 80-47 in their recent non-league game against Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD)
With the defeat, Sioux Valley moves to 21-4 on the year. The Cossacks host Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD) to face the Bison in a non-league game on Friday, March 17.
