January 6, 2023: Clark, SD 57225 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones (Clark, SD) and the visiting Groton Tigers (Groton, SD), saw Clark/Willow Lake's basketball squad overcome Groton by a tally of 51-43.
With the victory, Clark/Willow Lake improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Cyclones host Webster (Webster, SD) to confront the Bearcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Webster lost 79-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Deuel (Clear Lake, SD)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Sisseton Redmen (Sisseton, SD) in a A Region 1 challenge, on Monday, January 9. Groton will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Redmen come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 61-29 non-league loss to Castlewood (Castlewood, SD).
