The Groton Tigers basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Milbank Bulldogs to 36 in the Tigers league victory on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwestern Area for a non-league contest on Monday, January 23. Groton will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 49-45 non-league loss to Roncalli (Aberdeen, SD). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-1.

The Bulldogs (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Florence/Henry (Florence, SD). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Florence/Henry triumphed over Timber Lake (Timber Lake, SD), 67-51, in a non-league contest.
