The Groton Tigers (Groton, SD) basketball crushed the visiting Sisseton Redmen (Sisseton, SD), 73-20 in Monday's league test.

The Tigers (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Tiospa Zina (Agency Village, SD). The Wambdi go into the A Region 1 test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Tiospa Zina walloped Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD), 65-28, in a non-league test.

The Redmen now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Waubay/Summit for a A Region 1 test on Tuesday, January 10. Sisseton will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 74-41 league win over Webster (Webster, SD). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-0.
