Tennessee High School Basketball - Union City can't hold off St. Benedict at Auburndale
December 10, 2022: Union City, TN 38261 The St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Union City Golden Tornadoes to 53 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Munford for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. St. Benedict at Auburndale will battle a Cougars team coming off a 64-56 non-league win over University School of Jackson (Jackson, TN). The Cougars record now stands at 4-4.
The Golden Tornadoes (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Henry County (Paris, TN). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record.
