The Blackwell Hornets basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Roby Lions to 39 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Sunday.

The Hornets now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lueders-Avoca for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Blackwell will battle a Raiders team coming off a 39-9 non-league loss to Bluff Dale (Bluff Dale, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 0-5.

The Lions (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Robert Lee (Robert Lee, TX). The Steers enter the non-league contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Robert Lee nudged Westbrook (Westbrook, TX), 41-23, in a non-league contest.
