Texas High School Basketball - Blackwell crushes Lueders-Avoca
December 12, 2023: Avoca, TX 79503 Blackwell Hornets (Blackwell, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lueders-Avoca Raiders (Avoca, TX), 41-11 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Blackwell upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Hornets host Cornerstone Christian (San Angelo, TX) to clash with the in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Cornerstone Christian lost 56-26 in their recent non-league bout against Irion County (Mertzon, TX)
Next up, the Raiders clash with the Roby Lions (Roby, TX) in a 1A Region II District 15 bout, on Friday, December 15. Lueders-Avoca will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 34-27 non-league loss to Robert Lee (Robert Lee, TX).
