Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Austin nudges Oswayo Valley
December 10, 2024: Austin, PA 16720 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Austin Panthers (Austin, PA) and the visiting Oswayo Valley Green Wave (Shinglehouse, PA), observed Austin's basketball team edge Oswayo Valley by a score of 45-44.
The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cameron County (Emporium, PA). The Raiders come into the North Tier challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Cameron County edged Galeton (Galeton, PA), 62-22, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Green Wave encounter the Smethport Hubbers (Smethport, PA) in a North Tier challenge, on Monday, December 16. Oswayo Valley will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Hubbers come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 65-21 non-league loss to Johnsonburg (Johnsonburg, PA).
