The Illini West Chargers basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Mendon Unity Mustangs to 28 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Chargers now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Macomb for a Prairieland game on Friday, December 13. Illini West will confront a Bombers team coming off a 46-34 non-league loss to Quincy Notre Dame (Quincy, IL). The Bombers record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Mendon Unity falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Seymour (Payson, IL) to confront the Indians in a West Central game on Friday, December 13.
