Illinois High School Basketball - Seymour holds off Mendon Unity
December 30, 2024: Mendon, IL 62351 In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Seymour Indians basketball team scored a close 64-62 triumph over the Mendon Unity Mustangs.
The Indians (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Routt Catholic (Jacksonville, IL). The Rockets go into the non-league contest with a 13-1 record. In their last contest, Routt Catholic was tipped by Auburn (Auburn, IL), 55-37, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Griggsville-Perry Tornadoes (Griggsville, IL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Mendon Unity will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Tornadoes go into the contest with a 5-5 record after their 70-46 league loss to Greenfield/Northwestern (Greenfield, IL).
