Leake Academy Rebels (Madden, MS) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders (Pearl, MS), 57-23 in a league match.

With the victory, Leake Academy upgrades its record to 6-2 on the year. The Rebels travel to Lamar (Meridian, MS) to face the Raiders in a MAIS 5A District 2 match on Friday, December 13. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 0-9. Lamar lost 57-41 in their recent league match against Wayne Academy (Waynesboro, MS)

The Crusaders now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Rankin Academy for a MAIS 5A District 2 match on Friday, December 13. Park Place Christian Academy will face a Patriots squad coming off a 73-36 league loss to Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS). The Patriots record now stands at 0-5.
