North Carolina High School Basketball - Lincolnton triumphant over Shelby

December 10, 2024: Lincolnton, NC 28092

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC) and the visiting Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC), observed Lincolnton's basketball team overwhelm Shelby by a score of 87-65.

The Wolves (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Bears come into the 2A Catawba Valley challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Bunker Hill was routed by South Iredell (Statesville, NC), 48-46, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Lions battle the Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 11. Shelby will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 64-63 non-league win over Burns (Lawndale, NC).
