In Tuesday's league test, the Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Marist War Eagles (Atlanta, GA), by a score of 54-34.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Tucker Tigers (Tucker, GA) in a AAAA Region 5 test, on Friday, December 13. Southwest DeKalb will attempt to improve on its 9-0 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 7-3 record after their 83-66 non-league loss to Jonesboro (Jonesboro, GA).
