The St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions basketball squad (Atlanta, GA), was nudged 54-50 in Friday's league battle with the host Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA)

With the victory, Southwest DeKalb advances its record to 7-0 on the year. The Panthers travel to Central (Phenix City, AL) to meet the Red Devils in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 7. The Red Devils enter the battle with a record of 10-1. Central won 90-27 in their recent non-league battle against JAG (Montgomery, AL)

The Golden Lions now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lithonia for a AAAA Region 5 battle on Tuesday, December 10.
