Virginia High School Basketball - Norcom thwarts Western Branch

December 10, 2024: Chesapeake, VA 23321

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA) and the host Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA), observed Norcom's basketball team knock off Western Branch by a score of 70-57.

The Greyhounds (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Booker T. Washington (Norfolk, VA). The Mighty Bookers come into the Eastern challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Booker T. Washington dropped by Maury (Norfolk, VA), 86-20, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bruins encounter the Glen Allen Jaguars (Glen Allen, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Western Branch will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
