Alabama High School Basketball - North Sand Mountain can't hold off Spring Garden
December 10, 2024: Spring Garden, AL 36275 Spring Garden Panthers (Spring Garden, AL) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting North Sand Mountain Bison (Higdon, AL), 91-88 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Spring Garden advances its record to 5-0 on the year. The Panthers travel to Appalachian (Oneonta, AL) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Friday, December 13. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 2-6. Appalachian won 79-44 in their recent league match against Ragland (Ragland, AL)
The Bison now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Section for a 2A Area 16 match on Friday, December 13. North Sand Mountain will face a Lions squad coming off a 66-41 non-league win over Fairview (Cullman, AL). The Lions record now stands at 9-2.
