December 10, 2024: Shelbyville, KY 40065 The Owen County Rebels (Owenton, KY) basketball crushed the host Shelby County Rockets (Shelbyville, KY), 73-46 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Rebels now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Henry County for a District 31 bout on Friday, December 13. Owen County will play a Wildcats team coming off a 70-41 non-league win over Valley (Louisville, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Shelby County falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Rockets host Collins (Shelbyville, KY) to play the Titans in a District 30 bout on Friday, December 13. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Collins won 77-67 in their recent non-league bout against South Oldham (Crestwood, KY)
