The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the John Paul II Golden Warrriors (Ridgeland, SC) and the host May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC), observed John Paul II's basketball team edge May River by a score of 48-41.

The Golden Warrriors (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bridges Prep (Beaufort, SC). The Buccaneers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Bridges Prep was tipped by Memorial Day (Savannah, GA), 76-43, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Sharks encounter the Hilton Head Christian Academy Eagles (Hilton Head Island, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 16.
