Georgia High School Basketball - Pelham sneaks past Randolph-Clay
December 10, 2024: Pelham, GA 31779 The Pelham Hornets (Pelham, GA) basketball edged the visiting Randolph-Clay Red Devils (Cuthbert, GA), 44-42 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Hornets now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Stewart County for a A D2 Region 1 bout on Friday, December 13. Pelham will play a Royal Knights team coming off a 49-31 league win over Quitman County (Georgetown, GA). The Royal Knights record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Randolph-Clay falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Mitchell County (Camilla, GA) to play the Eagles in a A D2 Region 1 bout on Friday, December 13. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Mitchell County won 23-21 in their recent league bout against Terrell County (Dawson, GA)
